Walmart WFS fee calculator

Every rate below comes from Walmart’s own published WFS fee schedule, read on 2026-08-12. Each result line links the page it came from. This calculates published fees — it is not a quote, and it does not estimate anything Walmart does not state.

A published quirk worth knowing: Walmart’s schedule steps down at 31 lb. A 30 lb item is priced at $19.15 and a 31 lb item at $14.55 — the heavier item is cheaper to fulfil. Walmart prices the 31–50 lb band below the 21–30 lb band because heavier items travel by ground and may exceed two-day delivery. It is in their published table; we have not corrected it, only surfaced it.

What this does not include

Return processing is published by Walmart as a range, 4.70-17.55 per unit, on a schedule separate from fulfilment. We show the range rather than choosing a midpoint, because picking a number Walmart has not published is the exact practice this dataset exists to document. Referral fees, which vary by category, are not WFS fees and are not modelled here.

Rates are as read on 2026-08-12 and are checked against the source when the dataset is revised. Anything we get wrong is logged publicly on the corrections page. The full dataset behind this tool is at 3PL fee benchmarks, and the Walmart rows alone are at Walmart WFS fees. Money moving the other way, when WFS loses or damages a unit, is in what Walmart reimburses and how it is calculated.

Two fees have enough going on to get their own page: the hazmat surcharge, which WFS charges twice on the same unit, and big and bulky, where the return is priced on the same formula as the outbound.

Working out whether WFS is cheaper than a 3PL?

That is a harder sum than this page, because a 3PL quote and a WFS schedule are not written in the same units: one prices per order, the other per unit by weight tier, and only one of them usually includes the label. Two ways we can help, and the first is free.

Holding a 3PL quote already? Send it to the free gap check and we will tell you, within two business days, every fee line it leaves out and the exact question to put to that vendor. No call, no obligation, nothing charged.

Want to run the comparison yourself? The Quote Normalizer Kit ($99) takes your order profile plus up to five rate cards and returns one all-in cost per order for each. Its worked example already includes Walmart WFS, priced against three 3PLs on the same 2,000-order month.

When Walmart changes these fees

Walmart revises the WFS schedule without announcing it, and this page is only as current as the date on each row. Leave an address and you get an email when a WFS fee we track changes - nothing else, and nothing on a schedule. To come off, email data@ratecardlab.com and we delete the record.
